Mangusta has unveiled the GranSport 50, a new 50-metre yacht that opens up an entirely new design dimension. It takes the Italian shipbuilder's Sport Utility Yacht concept to its fullest expression in a visionary synthesis of sportiness, generous volumes and comfortable long-range cruising.

The key architectural innovation is a Raised Pilot House integrated seamlessly into the vessel's aerodynamic superstructure, enabling a layout that spans three and a half decks. By lifting the pilot house to the upper level, the design team freed up the forward area for a restyled infinity pool and panoramic lounge. Owners can also configure that space as a sixth cabin or a private family lounge overlooking the bow, effectively claiming the entire level as a personal deck.

Exterior design by Alberto Mancini preserves the muscular Mangusta silhouette while introducing extensive full-glazing, including frameless fashion plates for the first time, with Grigio Europa glass inserts creating subtle plays of light and shadow. The interiors follow the same logic, dissolving visual boundaries between cabin and horizon.

At the stern, a central staircase descends to the aft platform in what the brand calls a stairway to the sea. Two curved side wings open to reveal a beach club that converts into a waterside lounge or panoramic gym. The bow, meanwhile, houses a side-opening garage large enough for a 6.3-metre tender and two jet skis.

The GranSport 50 accommodates 12 guests across five cabins and carries a crew of nine. Twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines producing 2600 hp each push the yacht to a top speed of around 20 knots, with a cruising range of up to 4200 nautical miles.
