Majesty 145 Review: Oasis at Sea
This new 45-meter composite yacht from the UAE-based Majesty shipyard has enough space for everything you might need, with six cabins and an enclosed gym, and boasts interesting design elements like two infinity pools on the aft sections of the main and sun decks, as well as modern essentials like fold-out side terraces
Majesty 145 is the latest model from the eponymous UAE shipyard, which has seen impressive growth since partnering with Italian designer Cristiano Gatto. Gatto infused their sturdy locally built vessels with European charm and timeless Italian design, which created a positive reaction from market.
Italian flair across 45 meters
This 45-meter model is another result of that collaboration, announced at the Dubai boat show 2025. and launched this summer. This is the shipyard's second-largest model, following Majesty 175, the world's largest composite yacht, so it’s safe to say there’s no shortage of expertise behind this 420 GT yacht.
The new Majesty offers space for everything you might want to do at sea, including six cabins, an enclosed gym, an infrared sauna and generously sized crew quarters. The very first thing that attracts the eye are two aft infinity pools; one on the main deck and the other up on the sun deck, both with teak sides.
Main deck
Our tour of the yacht began on the main deck. The large aft platform is at water level, with the infinity pool directly above it. To the sides of the pool are the currently super-popular fold-out terraces with dedicated lounging areas, alongside the large seating area in the protected cockpit, making this part of the yacht a relaxing area in direct contact with the sea. The aft pool can be replaced with a large beach club.
The roof stretching over open areas charms with a lovely combination of light wood and stainless steel, and this play of wooden ceiling paneling continues into the salon, where striped ceiling details mirror the side wall paneling and chevron wooden floor.
The main salon is flooded with natural light streaming through large and wide glass surfaces: aft, there is the lounge area, while the forward section contains an indoor dining area seating twelve. A professionally equipped galley is port side, while starboard there is the corridor leading to the master cabin.
The owner’s suite and guest cabins
The master cabin boasts a centrally placed king-sized bed and large wardrobe closet with gorgeous decorations that can be illuminated like works of art. To the right, there is a his-and-her desk and a sofa, while on the left side there is a real terrace, surely to be popular with owners. Another option is a drop-down balcony. Forward, the bathroom is spacious and has an infra-red sauna in the left corner.
Below deck, there are five cabins with lovely private bathrooms, stating the model’s charter ambitions without ambiguity. Aft, there are two identical cabins with double beds, and forward of these, two more twin cabins (one with an additional Pullman berth). The VIP cabin is in the bow, while crew cabins are large enough to merit a mention.
Upper deck and sundeck spaces
A wide staircase leads to the main and upper decks, where we found the wheelhouse. In front of the wheelhouse lies another open-air lounge, which can be protected by a soft-top on carbon-fiber poles.
Aft of the wheelhouse, there is enough space for the skipper’s cabin and the gym, enclosed for comfort during hot days. The aft section of the upper deck boasts another cozy lounge, with a large TV, and on the stern deck there is an outdoor dining area.
On the sundeck, obviously the most interesting element is the infinity pool surrounded by a sunbathing area, with an additional table next to it. A central sliding glass partition protects this entire area from the wind, while the forward section boasts a large bar.
Sea trial and performance
Powered by 2,000-horsepower MTU engines, Majesty 145 cruises comfortably at 10 knots and reaches a top speed of 17 knots. All in all, the UAE builders have managed to include a few useful features into a 420 GT yacht, which also manages to stay charming and will surely attract many a buyer.
