Inside Maiora 36 Exuma: A New Voyage in Elegance
The Maiora 36 Exuma unites elegant lines, refined materials and exceptional performance, offering a new way to experience time and the sea
Maiora, part of Next Yacht Group and a symbol of style and freedom at sea for over 50 years, presents the 36 Exuma. This four-deck yacht blends elegance, comfort, performance, and generous volumes, offering a space to be lived, not just navigated. Clean lines, premium materials, and seamless interior-exterior flow create a harmonious and functional layout, while enveloping curves connect guests to the sea.
Measuring 36.9 meters with a 7.9-meter beam, the Exuma accommodates up to 12 guests, including a main-deck owner’s suite and four lower-deck cabins, alongside crew quarters for five. Exterior lines by Quartostile and interiors by Acube Design convey lightness and contemporary sophistication.
With a top speed of 33 knots, silent cruising, and effortless agility, the 36 Exuma embodies Maiora’s vision of modern yachting culture.
Exterior lines
The exterior is defined by pure dynamism and a bold new direction for the shipyard. It maximizes livability within the 300 GT limit through a full-beam bow and a stern engineered for seamless connection to the sea.
A commanding, horizontal profile is anchored by a sharp, vertical bow conveying performance. Functional details, like integrated chaise longues and a dramatic bow net, amplify the yacht's dialogue with the water, positioning the Exuma as a peerless living experience at sea.
Interiors
The interior palette, developed by Acube Design, embraces a contemporary language of material sensitivity. Fluid transitions and soft curves create an enveloping, timeless atmosphere dominated by warm, neutral tones. Premium leathers, natural fabrics, and rich wood surfaces are subtly accented by marble.
On the Main Deck, the fully retractable, automatic infinity door transforms the salon, instantly connecting bow to stern. The forward, full-beam owner's suite offers a breathtaking 270∘ view of the horizon.
Main deck
The Main Deck epitomizes Maiora's signature design, emphasizing flow and openness. It begins with a vast aft beach club, featuring comfortable seating and a sunpad framed by teak, creating a grand chaise longue that flows into the raised cockpit.
Inside, the bright, expansive salon utilizes a flush deck configuration for continuous, step free access. The centerpiece is the fully retractable, automatic infinity door, which instantly creates a visual tunnel stretching from bow to stern, maximizing openness. This sense of space is enhanced by full height side windows that connect the interior directly to the seascape.
The forward section is dedicated to the full beam owner's suite, an elegant sanctuary with a private study and a spacious bathroom. Its position provides 270° visibility, offering the owner uninterrupted, panoramic views.
Lower deck
Dedicated to guests and efficient operations, the Lower Deck features two spacious, light filled VIP suites and guest cabins. Strategically positioned, the two garages are key: a transversal garage accommodates a tender up to 6.25 meters, while the aft garage houses water toys, all placed to minimize noise transmission.
The crew area benefits from the yacht's vertical bow, creating an exceptionally functional space forward with three cabins for up to five crew members, ensuring privacy and discrete movement via dedicated pathways.
Upper deck
The Upper Deck is the social core of the yacht. The 'al fresco' salon is its defining feature, utilizing an Infinity Door system and retractable side windows to transform the area into a breathtaking, 360° terrace overlooking the sea. This highly versatile space can be fully open to the breeze or enclosed and climate controlled.
Forward, a panoramic area hosts a partially recessed pool framed by a generous sunpad. Completing the sensory experience is a suspended bow net: an evocative spot to be gently rocked by the water, suspended between sky and sea. A secluded Sun Deck 'Nest' above offers ultimate privacy and open views for absolute relaxation.
Performance
The Exuma’s performance is as refined as its design. A triple waterjet propulsion system delivers a top speed of 33 knots with remarkable comfort, quietness, and zero vibration.
Weighing just 180 tonnes exceptionally light for its class the yacht maintains stability and features a shallow draft of only 1.45 meters, opening up pristine, shallow coastlines from the Mediterranean to the Exumas.
