Leopard Catamarans has launched the Leopard 43, a next generation sailing catamaran developed with Robertson & Caine and naval architects Simonis Voogd. Replacing the Leopard 42, the vessel aligns with the aesthetic of the larger Leopard 46 and 52 while introducing significant performance and ergonomic upgrades.

The design features wraparound saloon windows for 360 degree interior visibility. Performance is improved via a wave piercing hull, reverse bows, and a redesigned sail plan; a mast nearly one meter taller than its predecessor delivers a 12% increase in upwind sail area.

The interior maintains Leopard’s signature indoor outdoor flow, with a sliding glass door connecting the cockpit and saloon. Communication is enhanced by a forward positioned coachroof lounge, while a new upholstered settee in the forward cockpit improves passenger comfort and foredeck access.

Energy efficiency is bolstered by integrated solar panels on the coachroof, generating up to 1,365W and eliminating the need for a traditional stainless steel arch. The model will join charter fleets as the three and four cabin Moorings 4300 and the four cabin Sunsail 434.
