First Look at Conrad’s Project Moonlight
Conrad Shipyard has officially delivered Project Moonlight, the third hull in its prestigious C144s series. The 44.5 meter superyacht successfully completed her sea trials in the Baltic Sea, following in the footsteps of her award winning sisterships, Ace and Extra Time.
Commissioned by a client introduced by the brokerage house Y.CO, Moonlight represents a collaboration between some of the most prominent names in yacht design. Her sleek, muscular exterior profile was penned by Reymond Langton Design, while Diana Yacht Design provided the naval architecture to ensure stability and oceanic performance. Nauta Design curated the refined interiors and the expansive social areas that define the yacht's layout.
The vessel accommodates ten guests across five flexible staterooms, with dedicated quarters for a crew of nine. Designed as a platform for global exploration and entertainment, Moonlight features an impressive beach club, a panoramic pool, and two alfresco dining areas. Standout amenities include an open air cinema and two fully equipped bars. The yacht’s garage is equally well appointed, housing a 6.3 meter tender alongside a fleet of Jet Skis and Seabobs.
Technically, Project Moonlight is a true transoceanic explorer. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she achieves a top speed of 14.3 knots and offers a remarkable range of 4,500 nautical miles at a steady 10 knots. Engineered to stay beneath the 500 GT threshold, the yacht combines the volume of a much larger vessel with the operational efficiency and regulatory flexibility required for modern long range cruising.
