Supercar inspired yachts are redefining luxury on water, merging automotive DNA with cutting-edge marine engineering. From electric dayboats bearing iconic automotive signatures to high-performance superboats pushing past 50 knots, this new generation of branded vessels brings the thrill of hypercars to the open sea.
Maserati Tridente
With Neptune’s trident emblazoned on the hood, Maserati’s cars have always carried a symbolic link to the sea. That same symbol now moves from road to water with the Tridente, an all-electric luxury dayboat born from a collaboration between the Italian marque, British electric propulsion specialist Vita Power, and American shipbuilder Hodgdon Yachts, renowned for crafting some of the finest superyacht tenders.
The result is a sleek day cruiser just over ten meters long, evoking the timeless lines of classic Riva models while embracing a futuristic electric drivetrain. It is driven by a potent 600 hp electric motor, allowing the Tridente to reach an exhilarating top speed of 40 knots.
Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT
Automobili Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group have taken their partnership to the next level by unveiling of the 30-metre yacht Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT. Its exterior design draws inspiration from the exclusive Lamborghini Fenomeno, a limited series of 29 units.
From the striking yellow hull to an interior defined by hexagonal motifs, sharp lines, and the iconic 'Y' shapes, every detail bears the unmistakable Lamborghini signature. Performance lives up to the design - three engines delivering 7,600 horsepower push the yacht to a top speed of 45 knots.
Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom
When Porsche ventures onto the water, it does so with unmistakable style. Developed in collaboration with a renowned Austrian shipyard, the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom brings the performance DNA of Porsche’s sports cars to the open sea.
At its core is the powertrain from Porsche’s all-electric Macan Turbo. A 100 kWh battery feeds an electric motor that delivers 540 hp, enabling a top speed of 49 knots in Sport Plus mode. And just as Porsche’s two-door models are offered as coupé or cabriolet, the Frauscher comes in both Runabout and Air versions.
Brabus Shadow 1200
German tuning house Brabus, famed for its striking Mercedes modifications, has successfully transferred its passion for performance and luxury to the marine world. In collaboration with Axopar, it has created true ‘beasts’ of the sea, with the Shadow 1200 firmly establishing itself in the superboat category.
Built on the Axopar 45 platform, the Shadow 1200 is propelled by three Mercury Racing V10 engines, producing an astonishing 1,200 horsepower and reaching a top speed of 55 knots. Beyond raw performance, the Shadow 1200 embodies Brabus’ signature style, featuring custom finishes and select materials that ensure both interior and exterior exude sophistication and exclusivity.
