More space, more privacy, and a slower pace, Four Seasons at sea is redefining the way we experience luxury travel

The new yacht by Four Seasons, Four Seasons I, has recently set sail in the Mediterranean, opening its first season at sea and marking the brand’s entry into the world of yachting.

Conceived as a residential-style yacht with 95 suites, Four Seasons I introduces a distinct approach to cruising, emphasizing space, privacy, and a slower travel rhythm. In its first year, voyages are planned across more than 30 countries and territories, with the Mediterranean forming the core of the season, while the yacht relocates to the Caribbean during winter.

Mediterranean routes span a range of regions, from the French Riviera and Italy to the Greek islands, including the Adriatic, with itineraries that feature Croatia and Montenegro. Certain sailings depart from Venice and head towards the southern Adriatic, with stops in destinations such as Hvar, Vis, and Dubrovnik, as well as the Bay of Kotor, combining well-known ports with more secluded coastal locations.

This approach, calling at smaller ports and focusing on local experiences, forms part of the project’s broader philosophy. The itineraries are designed to allow for deeper exploration of destinations, including longer stays and a slower pace of travel, rather than a traditional transit-style itinerary.

On board, the concept draws on a reinterpretation of classic yachting aesthetics, inspired by the legendary luxury yacht Christina O, translated into a contemporary setting. All suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces, while a one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio underscores a highly personalised level of service.

The offering includes 11 restaurants and bars, as well as a spa focused on wellness and a slower onboard rhythm, while specially designed days at sea allow for direct contact with the water through retractable platforms for swimming and watersports.

While the yacht relocates to the Caribbean during winter, Four Seasons I builds its first season around the Mediterranean, including the Adriatic as part of a wider network of carefully curated itineraries.
