Adriatic Glamour: Martinis Marchi’s Golden Sunset Sets the Standard for Coastal Luxury
For the fifteenth consecutive year, the enchanted Martinis Marchi estate on the island of Šolta transforms once a year into the ultimate epicenter of Mediterranean elegance
Last Saturday, the historic Martinis Marchi estate once again served as the gathering point for leading figures in Croatian gastronomy, fashion, art, and yachting. Set against the singular backdrop of the 300 year old heritage castle and award winning marina, the latest edition of the Martinis Marchi Summer Party, themed Golden Sunset, reaffirmed its reputation as one of the most anticipated boutique summer events along the Adriatic coast.
This year’s event carried particular significance as it marked the beginning of a new culinary chapter for Martinis Marchi under the management of the Biberon Group. Introducing the Biberon Chef’s Experience, the team showcased a contemporary approach to fine dining.
The restaurant terrace was transformed into an open stage where guests observed five head chefs from Biberon’s flagship establishments craft signature dishes up close: Hrvoje Zirojević (Olivier), Mate Brković (Kadena), Pero Savanović (Martinis Marchi), Stipe Vuletić (Maestro), and sushi master Ivan Momčilović (Biberon Sushi Bar). To conclude the culinary showcase, Karla Eremut presented an exclusive selection from the Biberon Dessert Collection.
The program kicked off in the afternoon at the marina with live music, signature cocktails, and networking among event partners.
Guests soaked in the picturesque atmosphere of Maslinica aboard their own yachts or took advantage of exclusive sea trials featuring Bellini and Fjord vessels, organized in collaboration with Croatia Yachting.
Croatian luxury diving watch brand MARNAUT drew significant interest, while internationally acclaimed artist Prof. Dr. Nikola Smilkov hosted a sculpture workshop in the castle gardens.
The evening’s focal point arrived at dusk when the marina transformed into a dramatic seaside catwalk. Renowned Croatian fashion designer Ivica Skoko, who is preparing to celebrate 30 years in the industry, presented his latest collection in collaboration with Vision Studio. The runway combined haute couture, nautical style, and historical architecture into a seamless visual narrative celebrating the Mediterranean lifestyle.
Skoko expressed enthusiasm for the venue, praising the estate's hospitality, culinary offerings, and organization.
The dinner featured a carefully curated showcase supported by distinguished brand partners. Guests were welcomed with Lanson Champagne before sampling afternoon and evening cocktails from Aperol Spritz, Sarti Spritz, Maraska Heritage, and Lemonish. Dinner courses were paired with fine wines from the Markus and Hvar Hills wineries, alongside premium selections from The Meat & Fisheria. The meal concluded with a signature Courvoisier drink, while luxury jeweler ZAKS heightened the evening's excitement by awarding valuable prizes in a raffle.
Following dinner, the celebration transitioned into the signature Pool Party, where guests socialized poolside to live music late into the night.
It is this combination of fine dining, art, fashion, and yachting, interwoven with authentic Mediterranean charm, that has established the Martinis Marchi Summer Party as a notable fixture on the international summer calendar.
'Our entire team, alongside our partners, puts tremendous effort into crafting this event because we are committed to offering our guests a truly memorable experience,' said Marija Gamulin, Event and Marketing Manager at Martinis Marchi. 'With this year's edition, reinforced by the culinary expertise of the Biberon Group, we aimed to showcase the best of Croatian gastronomy, art, fashion, and craftsmanship within a narrative that reflects our identity. We are proud that our guests once again recognized the authenticity, elegance, and atmosphere that make Maslinica so special.'
