Situated right by the sea and just steps from the old town, a hotel with more than 110 years of tradition has opened its doors as an intimate retreat for guests who come to Korčula for authentic island luxury

The recognizable silhouette of Korčula's old town, which has long drawn sailors and lovers of the authentic Mediterranean, has gained a new gem in the heart of its historic center. A landmark hotel with a rich tradition that has for decades served as a favored destination for the global elite has undergone a complete renovation and redesign. It has now opened its doors as the exclusive five-star Aminess Younique Korčula Heritage Hotel.

The building dates back to the 18th century and has operated as a hotel since 1912. For decades, it attracted an international clientele seeking discretion and refined service just steps from the sea. Over the years, its guestbook has included some of the most iconic names of the 20th century, among them Jackie Kennedy, Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and Orson Welles.

The Aminess investment was realized in collaboration with the architectural studio Atellior, bringing a carefully planned renovation that preserves the historic elements of the building while seamlessly integrating them with the highest contemporary hospitality standards.

The result is a luxury heritage concept that blends the authenticity of Korčula's heritage with the intimate, personalized approach characteristic of top-tier boutique hotels. The project represents the revival of Korčula's rich history, combining the preservation of the building's original features with the finest hospitality standards.

The hotel offers guests eleven premium rooms and an elegant lobby bar, with every detail designed to provide ultimate comfort and personalized service. The landmark terrace overlooking the sea remains one of the most sought-after gathering spots on the island, now enriched with elegant touches and a carefully curated selection of cocktails and local specialties.

An essential part of the hotel's offering is the 7 Seas Restaurant, led by renowned chef Matija Bogdan. Inspired by the richness of local ingredients and the Mediterranean gastronomic tradition, the restaurant brings a contemporary approach to fine dining, complemented by a carefully curated wine list.

With the opening of this hotel, Aminess Hotels & Resorts expands its portfolio of five-star properties and further establishes Korčula as one of the Adriatic's most desirable nautical and gastronomic destinations.
